BMB provided civil services for approximately 3 miles of hike and bike trails and associated amenities along the Salado Creek. The Trail stretched from McAllister Park through Loop 410 to Eisenhauer Road. The primary objective focused efforts on analyzing the impact on the water surface elevation and pilot channels of two (2) main low water crossings and multiple tributary crossings located within the 100-year existing flood plain. The low water crossings directly crossed the Salado Creek and the tributaries of the Salado Creek. Challenges besides the low water crossings were taking the trail under Eisenhauer Road, Austin Highway. To accommodate this we designed around piers of the bridges and existing storm outfalls that had to be extended or bridged.

What Our Clients Are Saying

John W. Strybos, P.E., C.E.M. – Alamo Colleges

It is my pleasure to provide this letter of reference to Bain Medina Bain for the work they preformed on Villaret Road ( Highway 16 to Jennifer). Originally a 3,500 foot, two-lane roadway, Bain Medina Bain helped to realize the vision of Alamo Colleges and the City to improve drainage, widen to four lanes and include a turning lane, bike lanes and sidewalks. Their proficiency, professionalism and responsiveness keep them at the top of our preferred consultants.
