TxDOT San Antonio, IH-37 from IH 410 to San Antonio Hurricane Evacuation Route

BMB provided engineering and surveying services to TxDOT San Antonio District for the widening of 17 miles of IH 37 for Hurricane Evacuation Route and operational improvements. Eight (8) bridges were widened at four (4) crossings: San Antonio River, Old Corpus Christi Road, Salado creek and Spur 122. This $22 million construction project was done under an extremely accelerated timeframe. Design and bidding completed in 8 months.
