2021 Water Main Replacement
Project Description: Providing civil engineering and survey services for 30%, 60%, 90%, and 100% Design/Bid Phase and Construction Phase. Three work orders have been assigned to replace the water mains and services in three different residential areas. Total length of water main replacement is approximately 30,000 LF. The following work orders for this contract are Castle View, Woodlawn, and Highland Park North. Services included surveying, preparing plans, specifications for water replacement, and TxDOT permitting. Additional services included cost benefit analysis and environmental investigation.
Summer Sun Water Main
Project Description: Project is located in Northeast San Antonio, North Loop 410, between Sun Gate/Summer Wind Street (North & South) and Spring Dawn Street/Summer Wind Street (East & West). Design includes the installation of approx. 7,650 LF of 8” HDPE water main installed by open cut. 201 Customer service lines are being replaced.
Cresthaven Heights Water Main Replacement
Project Description: Project is located in North Central San Antonio, inside of Loop 410 between Cliffwood Drive/Marchmont Lane (North & South) and West Avenue/Neer Avenue (East & West). Design included installation of approximately 10,300LF of 8” water mains installed by open cut or pipe bursting. This included 4,300 LF of pipe bursting 6” AC pipe with 8” HDPE pipe in the alleys, 5,000 LF of temporary 4” water mains, 6,000 LF of 8” HDPE pipe installed by open trench and 244 customer services. Additional Fire Hydrants were added to meet the current fire code.
